DJ Maj

I am DJMaj-ik, but most know me as “Maj”. With over 15 years of experience, i specialize as an open-format corporate event and wedding DJ. My journey started in 2004 when I took on a part-time job and invested in my first DJ system.

I honed my skills working at various venues and was soon sought after by mobile DJ companies and agencies to DJ at corporate and private events. My journey has taken me across the UK and abroad, allowing me to pursue my passion. In 2016, I ventured out as an open-format multi-genre DJ.

I provide professional entertainment services to ensure your event is enjoyable, relaxed, and stress-free. I aim to create an exciting and thrilling experience for your guests, making your event one to remember without any worry on your part, offering a bespoke entertainment solution for those who want a high-end quality service from an experienced professional without the ego and the ridiculous price tag.

Every event is unique, including the demographics of the audience, the number of guests, the total length of time needed, and the location. However, the goal is the same, to do whatever it takes to ensure clients have a successful event, without glitches and awkward moments from start to finish.

On the day of the event, Maj was early in setting up and completely out of the way before our guest arrived. The music flowed seamlessly, and he was very flexible with guest requests. He did a great job keeping us on time and on point during the reception.

Maj-ik knows how to work with the venue and photographer and keep the evening flowing. One huge benefit was that he was happy to get the song for us if we wanted a song he didn't have. Since we have nerdy/strange tastes, this was perfect.
He was fantastic! We connected to his approach. He was responsive to our weird music choices and didn’t judge, helping us understand what we needed and what would work best. He was there 3 hours before the event started on the day. He was professional, helpful, and attuned to the crowd.
From the first meeting to the last dance, Maj was amazing and made sure that the music we requested was played and other requests ran through us. The dance floor was packed all night, and the dancefloor lights suggestion was a huge hit. We will recommend him to anyone we know searching for a DJ! A+ experience.
